Three Ireland Choose NordMende for High Bright Displays

We are pleased to announce that Three Ireland have chosen NordMende High Bright Screens for a number of their stores in Dublin and Galway

The High Brightness Window Displays go beyond the technology of a conventional screen as they are 3 times brighter than a standard home TV (1500cd/m2) which allows more readability in direct sunlight but without getting over-heated as the display has an internal air-conditioning system keeping the components at the optimum working temperature. The High Bright Display ensures a long and reliable life for your content which can be in constant use 24/7, and easy content management system with NordMende's Android Based Content Management System. The new NordMende digital displays were specified and installed by the leading provider of total ICT solutions and supporting services across Ireland, the UK and Germany, MJ Flood Technology.

Visible In Sunlight

Brightness is paramount when using outward facing screens, these displays use commercial grade Ultra High Brightness panels (1500 cd/m2); more than 3 times brighter than a standard home TV to allow easy readability in direct sunlight.

Advanced Temperature Control

The internal air-conditioning system allows the screens to be in constant use in an outward facing window. Internal fans keep their panels and other internal components at the optimum working temperature; ensuring a long and reliable life for your screens.

 Commercial Grade Panel and Components

Fitted with a commercial grade panel, with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, and using high quality components ensures that the displays can be in constant use 24/7.

Clever Android Based Content Management System

Control your on screen content using the NordMende’s content management system. A browser based dashboard allows you to plan and create layouts on the go. A screen can be segmented into different regions, each assigned with it’s own media to deliver different messages in a single display. Sequence, timing and transitions of media can be controlled with precision. Content can be scheduled to run at specific times, over a specific period, or for a specific promotion.

NordMende Provide Digital System at Web Summit

NordMende is delighted to be the provider of Digital Wayfinding at the 2015 Web Summit at the RDS Dublin.

Pixel Soup, a reseller of NordMende Digital Signage created a grid of 40 ceiling mounted digital signs throughout the Simmonscourt Pavillion and the RDS Main Hall. Powered by Android, each screen has a specific task of directing patrons to any given stage. A “Now / Next” RSS feed was implemented to show what speaker is at what stage and when. The responsive nature of the signage network allows Pixel Soup to react to unexpected changes in the event line up; If a speaker doesn’t turn up, or the schedule needs to change, the signs can be updated in seconds to provide relevant information. The scheduling feature allows the Pixel Soup team to plan the day well in advance, and use the content management system to react to unexpected developments in a timely manner. At the end of each day of the event, all the screens will change to a green “EXIT” content design, pointing everyone toward their nearest exit. The same method can be deployed in case of emergency.

Not only will NordMende be powering the wayfinding at this year’s Web Summit event but also, Collision New Orleans, Rise Hong Kong and Surge Bengalaru in 2016.
